WELCOME
We are people who "reach out to share God's love" through worship, learning, and service! We would love you to come be a part of all that we do!
Sunday worship happens at 8:15 and 10:45. You will find people dressed across the spectrum, from dresses and sport coats to jeans and t-shirts. You are welcome to come as you are. Music varies from week to week--hymns, choral anthems, praise songs, meditative choruses, we sing it all, with the support of a very talented pianist and choir.
Sunday school happens at 9:30 for kids through adults. Our building is handicapped accessible, and we have several members of the congregation who are certified in sign language--if you contact the church in advance we would be happy to arrange for interpretation. Child care is available during second service for kids up to kindergarten.
See below for more details on all of the learning and service opportunities Grace offers!

HOW WE SHARE OUR GIFTS
We take great joy in sharing all that God has given us and are very active in service with our community. We would love to have you come join your efforts with ours!
Regular opportunities for local service include:
1) Mobile Market: We help the local mission distribute commodities the fourth Friday of each month. The truck comes around 10am and we offload it, set up the market, and help folks get their groceries to their cars.
2) Backpack Snacks Program: We facilitate the backpack program for the Sullivan Public School District, averaging 170-200 backpacks per week. The church coordinates purchasing and logistics, and covers administrative costs relating to the program to ensure that 100% of all donations go directly to hungry, food-insecure children in our community.
3) SHARE Program: Summer months can be hard on low-income families. During July and August, Grace makes from scratch and delivers meals twice a week to children in our community--many of the same children who receive backpacks during the school year.
4) Community Dinner: Once a month Grace hosts a community-wide dinner for folks in our community who may not have many opportunities for a homemade, hot meal.
We are also active in the wider world around us. Each year the youth group goes on a mission trip. They have been to Oklahoma several times in the past, and this year are going to Kansas City. Our adult Volunteers in Mission group is passionate about construction ministries--they have also been to Oklahoma as well as Appalachia. This year they are headed back to Kentucky. We also support a sister church in Nova Mambone, Mozambique.
