Ever since its incep­tion in 1825, Bath UMC has been a vital and vibrant con­gre­ga­tion of believ­ers in Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “Every­one will know that you are my dis­ci­ples, if you have love for one another.” Bath UMC has the rep­u­ta­tion far and wide of being a group of very lov­ing peo­ple. If you are already involved with Bath UMC you know that this rep­u­ta­tion is accu­rate. We are com­mit­ted to each other and to the mis­sion Jesus Christ has given us, which is to make dis­ci­ples of Jesus Christ. We accom­plish this by offer­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties for peo­ple to con­nect with God and each other through pas­sion­ate wor­ship, fel­low­ship, spir­i­tual devel­op­ment and by reach­ing out to the world through mis­sions and service. If you are just becom­ing acquainted with Bath UMC, I know you will sense God’s pres­ence among us and that you will find this to be a place where you feel very much at home. I also know that you will find Bath UMC to be a peo­ple to whom you can com­mit and a church that val­ues what you have to offer God.
