WELCOME
At First UMC of Covington, we are involved in seeking our true identity as a congregation in the eyes of God, and we hope God is leading you to be a part of what He is doing here.
HOW WE SHARE OUR GIFTS
We have many opportunities to serve others at First United Methodist Church. Some of our ministries are:
- Northshore Food Bank is supported with volunteers, food
donations and funds. The food bank
provides food to people in need due to unemployment or illness. We consider it
not a duty but a privilege to share what we have. Drop off your food donations
in the basket located to your left as you enter the church.
- Vacation Bible School for children age 3 through elementary
grades.
- Kairos Inside, a mission to men in prison which meets at
various scheduled dates during the year.
They accept volunteers to assist with this vital outreach effort.
- New Year's Meals for the Hungry has many volunteers. Each
year, First UMC partners with local food suppliers and law enforcement to
provide, prepare, and deliver New Year's dinners.
