The Wesley Foundation at Tennessee State University, a public HBCU located in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking applicants for the Campus Minister of the Wesley Foundation.
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics: be an ordained or provisional elder or deacon in The United Methodist Church; have experience in campus ministry at an HBCU (especially ministry in a residential setting); proven experience in administration of a non-profit church related institution (including experience in fundraising and development); and be able to express a clear calling to campus ministry.
Persons interested in applying for this position must provide a complete resume or CV, three letters of reference (one from a bishop or district superintendent, one from a clergy person with whom the applicant has worked, and one from a lay person or student), and an essay articulating a clear call to campus ministry (800-1000 words).
