Let me first say a word to those of you who are first time visitors. You came tonight, and you had no idea what the sermon was going to be about. I want you to know we don't preach about abortion very often here - once about every three or four years.  But right now we are looking at, this week and next week, the two most controversial and divisive issues of our time: abortion, and next week, homosexuality.  And our aim is to try to bring to bear a thoughtful reflection from the perspective of our faith.  What does our faith teach us that might inform our positions and understandings on these issues?
